Red Porsche 911 Cutting Polish!

This red Porsche was recently purchased by the owner, having had a full respray shortly before being sold.  I was concerned after being told about it, that it would take more than a full machine polish to sort, but spending 3 days on a full flat & polish was not an option.   The photos below show that a full wet sand would have been a good option but my job was to see how the car came up with a full compound machine polish and refining.  I spent roughly 7.5 hours on the car, including some extras like waterproofing the hood, but main focus was on a thorough compounding of the new paint surface.  Using a combination of Menzerna polishes I achieved the best I could in the timeframe, as the photos show.  The owner was delighted, and to be fair, it came up quite nice, but with evidence of orange peel still there.  Image clarity was much improved though.
